Margaret Whitehead

Funeral Services for Margaret May Whitehead 84, of Kerrville passed away from this life on Wednesday March 24, 2010 at a health care facility in San Antonio, TX.

She was born on June 20, 1925, in Kerrville, TX the daughter of C.B. and Margaret Tennie Hooper Wages.

She married Donald Whitehead in Kerrville, TX on August 9, 1945. She worked for J.C. Penney for 35 years and she also loved her dogs and studied genealogy avidly. She attended Hunt Baptist Church in Hunt, TX.


Mrs. Whitehead is survived by a son Donald Whitehead Jr. and wife Carolyn of San Antonio, TX, two grandchildren Brandon and Sarah Whitehead of San Antonio, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 2008 and a son George Whitehead in 1998 and her parents.

Funeral services will be held Friday March 26, 2010 at 10am at the main chapel at Kerrville Funeral Home with Rev. John Collis officiating. Burial will follow at Glenn Rest Cemetery in Kerrville.
