Arlington Margaret S. Ebensberger passed into the hands of the Lord on Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Margaret was born February 20, 1918 in New Braunfels, Texas, to Robert and Lena Eitze.

She married Charles Ebensberger in 1938 and a few years later they moved to Kerrville where they lived for over 50 years. Due to illness, they moved in late 2005 to Hearthstone Assisted Living in Arlington, Texas in order to be close to their son, Gary and his wife, Merrilee.

Margaret and Charlie joined the First United Methodist Church on October 27, 1948. They were both extremely active in the church. They prepared the communion elements for over 40 years and they were charter members of the Keystone Class. Margaret worked for many years as a cashier and bookkeeper for J. C. Penney Co. and L.C.R.A.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, who passed away on December 18, 2007. Survivors include her son, Gary and wife three grandchildren, Steve and family of Tampa, Florida, David and family of Nashville, Tennessee, and Paul and family of Flower Mound, Texas eight greatgrandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 4 6 PM on Sunday, September 18, 2011, at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Monday, September 19, 2011, in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church, 321 Thompson Dr., Kerrville, TX., with the Rev. Bob Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Kerrville, TX.

In lieu of floral arrangements, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to First United Methodist Church, 321 Thompson Dr., Kerrville, TX, 78028.
