Marcus Poteet

Marcus C. Poteet, loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and loyal friend, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2005. She was born May 19, 1918 in Richland Springs, Texas to Frank and Flora Coughran. She was a resident of Kerrville, Texas for 26 years and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a long time active member of the Hill Country Youth Ranch Auxiliary and worked at the Hill Country Youth Ranch Thrift Store. Prior to that, she was a long time resident of Baytown, Texas and member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Poteet, brother, Clint Coughran, and sister, Nilah Wright.She is survived by her children, Carla Poteet Wheeler of Kerrville, Texas, and Denise Poteet Hynes of Rio Rancho, New Mexico four grandchildren, Jeff Wheeler, Leigh Wheeler, Zak Hynes, and Sage Hynes sister, Nell Talbott and husband Orwin, and brother, Jack Coughran. Memorial services will be 2:00PM, Saturday, January 22, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev.
