Mamie Webb

Mamie Koonce Webb, 101, of Kerrville, Texas passed away peacefully on August 29, 2004 at a local care facility. Born November 26, 1902 in Sulphur, LA to Elisha James and Eunice Smith Koonce, she moved to Kerrville in 1947, where she has remained a resident for over 40 years. She was a member of Hunt United Methodist Church.Mrs. Webb served in many organizations throughout Kerr County over the years. They include: serving as President of the Ingram Garden Club, member of the Hunt Garden Club, Flower Arrangers, Kerr County Womens Chamber of Commerce where she was honored as the first Women of the Year, Republican Women, Kerrville State Hospital, Hill Country Youth Ranch, Hill Country Arts Foundation and the Hunt United Methodist Church Women.She was preceded in death by her husband Dan Webb in 1960.She is survived by her niece, Betty Clyburn and husband Steve of Houston, TX, and special friend and caregiver, Diane Weisiger of Kerrville.Memorial services will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at the Hunt United Methodist Church. Private services for final rest will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.Memorials may be made to the Hunt United Methodist Foundation, PO Box 137, Hunt, Texas 78024.
