Madeline Betzner

Kerrville- Mitzie (Madeline) Betzner, 83, of Kerrville,Texas, passed away from this life on Thursday, July 16, 2015 in Kerrville , Texas.
Mitzie was born on February 4, 1932 to Otto and Rose Schmelder in Bristol, Connecticut. She grew up and went to school as well in Bristol.

Mitzie worked for 40 years as a telephone operator in Connecticut and Arizona. She was also a professional vocalist and love to harmonize. Her favorite kind of music to sing was Gospel and Country. She was known to say, " I give hugs would you like one?" In 1995 she met William Betzner and they were married on May 21, 1995 and they have been Residing in Kerrville.

She was preceded in death by her parents Otto and Rose Schmelder, daughter: Danielle Schaffer (Hurder)

Those who are left to cherish her memory are her husband: Bill (Will) Betzner, Brother: Richard Schmelder, also 8 Children, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A celebration of Life will be honored privately by family members.
