Lyle Bartels

Lyle Eugene Bartels, 79, of Kerrville, TX, formerly a 40 year resident of Las Vegas, passed away February 8, 2005 in Kerrville.Mr. Bartels was born September 30, 1925 in Almena, KS to Claude and Esteline Bartels. He was a WWII veteran, a member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America Nevada Chapter, and the Disabled Veterans of America in Colorado since 1949. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge AFAM of Golden, Colorado 1, OES, hip 137, and the Arvada Historical Society. He married Donna Bartels on December 30, 1986 in Las Vegas.He is survived by his wife, Donna Bartels of Kerrville, son, Norman Lyle Bartels of Spring Branch, TX daughter, Mary Ellen Crawford of Bandon, OR stepson, John F. Stanley of Las Vegas granddaughters, Micah BartelsAdams and Mara Bartels both of Las Vegas sister, Dorothy Flori of Goodland, KS nephews, James Flori of Marshall, TX and Irwin Flori of Goodland, KS and niece, Georgie Boyce of Arvada, CO.Memorial services will be held at a later date.
