Lucy Armstrong

KERRVILLE - Lucy Mae Armstrong, 94, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 9, 2016. She was born in San Augustine, Texas in 1921, to James and Gertrude Payne. She married C.C. Armstrong on Christmas Day in 1940.

Having lived in Kerrville for many years, she was a valued member of First United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, C.C. Armstrong; son, Larry Armstrong; and twin sister, Lucille Ward.

She is survived by her son, James Armstrong and wife Carol; daughter-in-law, Karen Klarquist; three granddaughters; a niece, Sherry Bradberry and husband Charles; along with many friends, neighbors, and her church family.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, February 15, 2016in the Sanctuary of First United Methodist Church, 321 Thompson Drive, Kerrville, Texas 78028 with the Rev. Donna Mcgee officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 3250 Fredericksburg Road, Kerrville, Texas 78028.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
