Luciene Cooper Moore, 89, of Kerrville, Texas passed away peacefully on March 1, 2006 surrounded by friends and family at a local care facility. Mrs. Moore was born on November 28, 1916 in Rising Star, Texas to Marion and Pruda Cooper. She married Edward E.R. Moore on December 1, 1945 in Dallas, Texas. They both worked for Braniff Airlines Mrs. Moore was private secretary to Mrs. Tom Braniff for several years. In 1980, they moved from Dallas to Kerrville, where they cleared their land and built their home themselves. They enjoyed traveling, and were charter members of the Cowboy Artists Museum. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Medina Childrens Home. She was a very active member of the Kerrville Church of Christ, and spent many hours volunteering and working for the church and with the ladies organization. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt who loved her family, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all her friends and her family.She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, E.R., on March 28, 2005, her parents, and five sisters.She is survived by her son, Edward Moore and wife Lori of Kerrville grandchildren, Edward R. Moore and family, Gary A. Moore, Maureen A Robison and family, David R. Moore and family, Lynde L. Morris and family, sisterinlaw, Betti Grace Adams and husband Bob of El Paso sisterinlaw, Joan Moore of El Paso, numerous nieces and nephews, including, nephew, John Adams and wife of Kerrville, and niece, Susan Bean and family of El Paso and special friends, Gene Pope and Leatrice Nixon.
