Marble Falls Lowell W. Stacy, 97, passed from this life on Monday, January 31, 2011, at Granite Mesa Health Center, and was met at the Pearly Gates by his beloved Ava, and they went RV shopping.
Born in Jourdanton, TX on July 28, 1913, he was the son of Roy and Anis Barber Stacy. Lowell married Ava Lee Riddle, a union that would last 72 years.
Lowell worked for Sun Oil Company for 35 years, living in Placedo, Taft, Rockprt, Colorado City, Premont and Freer, TX. The Stacys moved to Kerrville after his retirement.
He was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. Lowell led an amazing life, filled with fun, laughter, love and caring.
He and Ava Lee loved to travel in their motorhome throughout the USA and Canada and were able to do that since his retirement years ago until Ava Lees death in 2008. His passion for family, friends and work was insurmountable.
When Lowell got all dressed up with his suit and tie on, he always wore his boots with their spit shine. So, today Lowell is all dressed up in his suit and his boots on as he goes and joins his beloved Ava, whom he called quotHoneyquot.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his son, Ron Stacy of Kingsland, TX his daughter Patsy Templin of Mesa, AZ three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
ation will be held at Eeds Funeral Home, 408 South Main St, Lockhart, TX on Saturday, February 5, 2011 from 11:00AM12:00 PM.
Funeral services will follow at 12:00PM at Eeds Funeral Home. Committal services will be at Bunton Cemetery, Dale, TX.
