Loretta Rodgers

Kerrville Loretta F. King Rodgers, 63, of Kerrville, passed from this life at her home on Tuesday, January 19, 2010.

Born in Corpus Christi on August 23, 1946, she was the daughter of James R. and Frances Wright King. She had been a resident of Kerrville for the past 30 years.

She worked for Benefit Solutions as an Insurance Associate for many years.

Loretta was a member and very active in the Trinity Baptist Church family and enjoyed her Sunday School friends.

She loved playing games, working on crafts, painting and gardening.

Loretta is predeceased by her mother, Frances Wright King in 2005.

Those left to honor and cherish her memories are her daughters, Stacy Rodgers and Jennifer Rodgers both of Austin her father, James R. King of Dallas her sister, Susan Simmer of Austin her brother, Charles King of Dallas and nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation.

A celebration of her life will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, Kerrville on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at 3:00PM with Rev. Bill Blackburn officiating. Inurnment will be held in Dallas.

The family suggests that donations be made to the local humane society of your choice.
