Lora Evans

Kerrville Lora Adon Evans, 87, of Kerrville passed from this life on Tuesday, November 23, 2010.

Born on December 6, 1922 in Cross Plains, TX, she was the daughter of James A. and Ada Ethel Duncan Miller. She had been a resident of Kerrville for many years.

On May 26, 1940, she married Arthur L. Evans in Big Spring, TX.

Mrs. Evans enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Kerrville.

Mrs. Evans was predeceased by her beloved husband, Arthur L. Evans, her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her 3 sons, Jimmie L. Evans of Kerrville, Ky L. Evans and his wife, Pam, of Tyler, TX and Kim R. Evans and his wife, Karen, of Comfort her grandchildren, Lance Evans and his wife, Jessica, of Longview, TX, Chase Evans and his wife, Katie, of Longview, TX, Ann Evans Boyer and her husband, Bobby, of Canton, GA, Allison Evans of Comfort, Colby Evans of Comfort and Emily Evans of Comfort 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation.

A celebration of her life will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, Kerrville on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 2:00PM. Committal service will be private at Garden of Memories.

The family suggests that donations in her name be made to Trinity Baptist Church.
