KERRVILLE- Lois M. Walton, 88, passed from this life Thursday, December 17, 2015. She was born June 27, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan to Hector and Margaret Switch Moreau. She lived in Canada, Michigan and Texas. Lois graduated from Seguin High School and went on to attend the University of Texas at Austin.

On August 6, 1949 she married, C. Lee Walton, Jr. in Austin. After marriage their travels were many. Lois worked in the Pentagon while her husband served in the Korean Conflict. For the next twenty years, her husband's job moved them to Ohio, Venezuela, England, Connecticut, Illinois, New York and finally back to Texas. She resided in Dallas for eleven years before her move to Kerrville.

Her main interests were her children, grandchildren and friends. She was a world traveler, traveling extensively through Europe, Asia, South America and North America. She was a life member of the Texas Exes., a member of both the Dallas and Kerr County Texas A&M Mother's Club and was appointed Social Chairman 1982-1983 for the Federation of Texas A&M University Mothers' Clubs. Lois was a volunteer for the Animal Welfare Society of Kerrville and a member of the Hunt Garden Club for many years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret S. Morrow.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her children; Bret Walton and wife, Kelly of San Antonio, Candace and husband, Jimmy Poole of Kerrville and Greg Walton of Ingram. Grandchildren; Amy Walton of Louisville, Kentucky, Megan Walton of Chicago, Illinois, Haley and Cameron Poole of Kerrville; and her brother Richard Morrow and his family.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff at River Point and Ave Maria Hospice for their wonderful compassionate care.

Lois' life will be celebrated at the family Ranch, in Ingram, that she so dearly loved.
