Lois Stromberg

Kerrville Lois A. Stromberg, 72, of Kerrville, passed from this life at a local hospital on Tuesday, May 5, 2009.

Born in Houston, TX on December 20, 1936, she was the daughter of Richard and Lela Geyer Brough. She attended Comfort, TX schools, graduated from Odessa High School, and attended Texas Western College in El Paso. She had been a resident of Kerrville for 15 years.

She was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church and was very active in the Methodist church communities.

Mrs. Stromberg was a member of the League of Women Voters.

She was predeceased by her parents.

Those left to cherish and honor her memory are her husband, Weldon E. Stromberg of Kerrville a son, Richard E. Stromberg of Huerfano County, CO a daughter, Kathryn Boswell of Austin and a grandson, Deontae Boswell of Austin.

There is no visitation.

A celebration of her life will be held at St. Pauls United Methodist Church, Kerrville on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 10:00AM.

In lieu of floral arrangement, memorials in her name may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
