Lois Senter

KERRVILLE Lois Senter, 69, started her new life on Friday April 27th at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Louisville, KY on March 2, 1943.

She graduated in 1962 from Shawnee High School and her first job was at Louisville Gas and Electric. Lois married Bruce F. Senter on July 27th 1968.

Most recently, Lois worked for 10 years for Sid Peterson Hospital and Hospice. Lois was loved and cherished by all who knew her. She wanted to be known as a Christian woman who stood by her beliefs. Her dry and witty sense of humor was enjoyed by everyone. Her greatest joy was being NaNa to her grandchildren and spending time with them. She will be missed and remembered always.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce F. Senter parents, two sisters, and one brother.

Survived by daughter, Tammy Soth, son in law Alan Soth, grandchildren Emma and Ethan Soth of Kerrville sisters, Jeanette Johnson of Baltimore, MD, Martha Senter of Louisville, KY brother, Joseph T. Resch Jr. of Louisville, KY. She will also be missed by many other family members and her hospice family.

A celebration of her life will be held at Southern Oaks Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 1 PM.
