San Antonio, Texas Leighton Lewis Bud Hainline, 84, a Kerrville resident since 1959, entered into rest on September 15, 2006 at a hospital in San Antonio.Mr. Hainline was born December 26, 1921 in Rock Island, Illinois to parents, Elliot L. and Fay Lewis Hainline. He served his country in the U.S. Army from November 27, 1942 to February 3, 1946. After being honorably discharged from the Army he moved to Bandera, and opened Buds Radio Repair. He married Patricia Trowbridge on February 22, 1950 in Bandera. In Kerrville, he was the coowner of Lad Buds TV with Lad Hubenak, which later became Buds TV then Buds TV Repair Co. His accomplishment of learning to fly, and earning his Pilots license made him very proud. Mr. Hainline was of the Methodist faith, a member of the Lions Club, and the Booster Club. He was very proud of his family, and his family looked up to him. He will be greatly missed by his many friends, and his loving family.He is preceded in death by his father, Elliot Hainline mother, Fay Hainline brother, Tom Hainline, and sister, BarbaraJane Hainline.He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia Hainline two sons, Rick Hainline Lisa, and Scott Hainline Sandi two grandchildren, Ashley H. Anderson Micah, and Caleb Hainline sisterinlaw, Wanda Jones cousin, Bob and Stella Sinn stepgrandchildren, Erica and Jennifer Ransom niece, Shari Hainline nephews, Tom Jones Trish and Steve Jones Pam.A register book is available for signing at Kerrville Funeral Home. Private family services will be held at a later date.For their exceptional care the family would like to thank the staff of Hilltop Village, especially Angie, Dawna, and Theresa the Veterans Hospital in Kerrville, and the SICU doctors and nurses at Audie Murphy Veterans Hospital in San Antonio.Memorials may be made to Hilltop Village Patient Volunteer Services, 1400 Hilltop Circle, Kerrville, Texas 78028.
