Lisque Ruggles Lesley passed away on June 26, 2006, surrounded by her children. Born on February 5, 1909, in Walters, Oklahoma to Hugh and Sarah McAlpine, Lisque moved to Wichita Falls in 1938, where she resided until 2005, at which time she moved to Kerrville, Texas to be close to her children. She graduated from Oklahoma College for Women and received her graduate studies from Oklahoma and Midwestern Universities and was a life long seeker of knowledge. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Garland Pug Ruggles and Renfro Dumps Lesley. She was a member of Floral Heights Methodist Church and loved her hip Sunday School Class SeniorJunior Past Presidents Group Criterion Club Wichita General Hospital Auxiliary, and Retired Teachers Association. She was a Silver Life Masters in the American Bridge League and enjoyed the many friendships she made at the duplicate tables. Lisque taught school at Zundelowitz Junior High from 1954 to 1973. She will always be remembered as a gracious lady and for the joy she shared with her students, friends and family. Her love of life and family will be missed for generations to come. She is survived by a daughter, Dell Cupit of San Antonio, TX., a son and daughterinlaw, Hugh and Susie Ruggles of Kerrville, TX., grandchildren, Avery and Taylor Ruggles Kohm, Mac Ruggles, and Jay Shulman, and one great grandchild, Reese Shulman.The memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 30, 2006, at Floral Heights Methodist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
