Linda Vester

Kerrville Linda Sue Vester, 69, of Kerrville, passed from this life at a local hospital on Friday evening, October 2, 2009.

Born in Ft. Worth, TX on August 7, 1940, she was the daughter of Jerry and Etheline Parks Weddel and was raised in West TX and East NM. She lived in Southlake, TX for 9 yrs and in Colleyville and for the past 7 years has lived in Kerrville.

A graduate of Grapevine High school, it is there that she met her husband, Jesse Eugene quotGenequot Vester. On December 31, 2009, they would have celebrated their 52 anniversary.

While in Colleyville, she worked for about 10 years as a teachers aide for the Grapevine Colleyville School district. Her greatest career was her husband and children.

She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Mrs. Vester was predeceased by her father.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her husband, Jesse E. quotGenequot Vester of Kerrville her children, Jimmy Gene Vester of Bedford, TX, Curtis Lee Vester of Kerrville, David Dwayne Vester of Euless, TX, and Nick Todd Vester and his wife, Terri, of Haslet, TX 2 grandsons, Austin Scott Vester and James Cameron Vester her mother, Etheline Weddel of Grapevine, TX a sister, Sylvia Morse of Joplin, MO a brother, James Weddel of Southlake, TX and nieces and nephews.

ation will be at Kerrville Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, October 6, 2009 from 68 PM.

Another visitation will be held at Lucas Funeral Home, Grapevine,TX on Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 11AM1PM with a service to follow in the chapel at 1PM. Committal will follow in Aurora Cemetery, Rhome, TX.
