Baker of Kerrville, TX passed away at the age of 48 on Sunday, February 1, 2009, at a local hospital.nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp She was born on January 4, 1961, in Kerrville, TX to Michael and Alta Jane lsquoJudyrsquo Brown.nbsp Linda attended Tivy High School before falling in love and marrying the man of her dreams, Wade Baker.nbsp Linda and Wade then had two daughters Jaclyn and Teesha.nbsp Linda, along with her siblings and friends, ran Brownrsquos DriveIn until it closed in 1997.nbsp Linda loved keeping her fatherrsquos tradition alive by not letting a single person go hungry, whether they had money or not.nbsp But she did not stop there.nbsp She also would donate food to organizations and families in times of need.nbsp Linda will always be remembered as a vibrant, energetic, and loving person.nbsp Linda fought a short, difficult battle with terminal cancer before being called home by her Lord.nbsp nbspnbspnbspnbspLinda is preceded in death by her daughter Jaclyn, parents, and brother, James Brown.nbspnbspnbspShe is survived by her husband WadenbspBaker of Kerrville, TX daughter, Teesha Baker of Kerrville, TX brother, Mike Brown, Jr. and wife Sharon McBride of Kerrville, TXnbspsister, Carolyn Moore and husband Sonny of Kerrville, TXnbspbrother, David Brown and wife Janet of Ingram, TXnbspsister, Sharon Brown of Houston, TXnbspnumerous nieces and nephews along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors.nbspation will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Friday, February 6, 2009, 6 ndash 8 PM.nbsp Funeral Services will be at the First United Methodist Church of Kerrville, 321 Thompson Drive, Saturday, February 7, 2009, 10 AM.nbsp Interment will follow immediately at the Center Point Cemetery.nbspnbspIn lieu of floral arrangements, the family requests donations be made to Wells Fargo Bank in Linda Bakerrsquos name to assist in deferring the many expenses that have accumulated.nbsp nbspArrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.830 8955111nbsp
