Lillian Nickles

Lillian Plant Nickles, age 91, died at a local care facility on Sunday, July 14, 2002. She had lived in Kerrville eight years after moving form Aberdeen, MSLillian married William Nickles in 1930. He preceded her in death in 1979. Survivors include one son, Bill Nickles and his wife, bethel, both of Kerrville two grandchildren Rosalie Nickles of College Station, TX, and Matthew Nickles of Austin, TX and two great grandchildren.Services will be scheduled later to be held in Aberdeen, MS.Mrs. Nickles was a noted volunteer and a genealogical writer and researcher. She was named one of the volunteers of the century in 200 by the Aberdeen Rotary Club.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peterson Hospice, 1121 Broadway, Kerrville, TX 78028, or to the charity of ones choice.
