Leta Bagby

Kerrville Leta Joyce Bagby, 87, of Kerrville, passed away peacefully at home with her loved ones at her side.

Born August 24, 1922 in West Columbia, TX, she was the daughter of Mayme Boggs Lester and William H. Lester.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, who was proud of her mixed family of Aggies and Teasips. Her passions included her church family, growing flowers and feeding birds.

She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Donald E. Bagby.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her sons, Donald Bagby and Steven Bagby her daughter, Barbara Herbst 5 granddaughters and one great granddaughter.

There will be a visitation at Kerrville Funeral Home on Sunday, April 18, 2010 from 24 PM.

A celebration of her life will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home, Main Chapel on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 10AM. Committal services at Garden of Memories will be private.

The family suggests that donations in her name be made to the American Lung Association.
