Lester Brandt

Kerrville Lester Hilmar Brandt Jr. went to be with his Lord on April 10, 2009. He was born in Washington D.C. on November 21, 1951 to Lester H Brandt Sr. and Beverly Winters Brandt.

Upon completion of honorably serving his country in the United States Army from 1973 to 1988, Lester moved to Kerrville and worked for the State Hospital since 1990 and H R Block since 1997. Lester enjoyed playing the guitar, trombone and cello. He also sang.

Those left to honor and cherish his memories are his parents fianceacute Bette Smith of Lamar, Missouri son, James Ray Brandt of Surf Side, TX daughter, Valerie Jean Gonzales of Rockdale, TX brothers, Dean Brandt friend Diane Morris of Kerrville, TX and Wayne Brandt and wife Brenda of Abilene, TX sisters, Rebecca Kleibrink and husband John of San Antonio, TX and Teresa Klingemann and husband Bob of Kerrville, TX 6 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors who will greatly miss him.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Friday April 17, 2009 in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home with Reverend Smith from Dallas, TX officiating. In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be forwarded to the American Heart Association.
