Leroy Schubert

Kerrville Leroy F. Schubert, 86, passed from this life at a local health care facility on Wednedsay, February 2, 2011.

Born on November 17, 1924, he was the son of John and Lena Schindler Schubert.
Mr. Schubert was a switchman for the railroads for many years.

An avid bowler, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

On October 11, 1946, he married Betty Bolin, and this romance carried on for over 52 years, until she passed in 1990.

He was a member of the Sons of Herman Lodge in Houston.

A visitation will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Sunday, February 6, 2011 from 24PM.

A celebration of his life will be held at South Park Funeral Home, Houston on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 3PM with committal to follow at South Park Cemetery.
