KERRVILLE - Leonard C. Coyne, 93, of Kerrville Texas, formerly of Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully on Saturday September 19, 2015. He was the husband of the late Eleanor (Robbins) Coyne to whom he was married for 66 years.

Born on August 14, 1922 in Attleboro, he was the son of the late James L. Coyne and Hattie M. (Leonard) Coyne. Leonard resided in Attleboro, MA for many years before relocating to Kerrville Texas in 1983.

Leonard was a WWII Veteran serving in the Pacific Theatre of Operation as a member of the U.S. Navy. After the war Leonard began his career as a toolmaker in the jewelry industry with the Sweet Manufacturing Company of Attleboro/Mansfield, where he continued to work for the next 30 years. In 1983 Leonard moved to Texas with his wife to pursue his career with James Avery Craftsman. This became part of his extended family for the next 26 years until his retirement at 87 years old in 2009.

Leonard was currently a member of Saint Paul's United Methodist Church in Kerrville.

Leonard is survived by his loving sons James Coyne and his wife Patricia of Mansfield, MA and Steven Coyne of Kerrville, TX, and the late David Coyne. He also survived by his grandchildren, Kathryn DaSilva, Jamie Coyne and David Coyne as well as his great grandchildren Cooper and Penelope DaSilva.

Preceding him in death are his brothers and sisters, James L. Coyne, Lawrence Coyne, Lorraine Pye and Beverly Pye Lincoln.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, September 24, 2015 in the sanctuary of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Kerrville, TX. Burial will be at a later date in Attleboro, MA.
