Leona Alberthal

Leona J Alberthal, 94, of Kerrville, Texas passed away quietly on Sunday morning April 29, 2018. She was born January 22, 1924.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel before being laid to rest next to her husband at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 12 noon prior to services.

Leona worked at the Kerrville Telephone Company as an operator for 37 years, before retiring in 1988.
After retiring, she enjoyed gardening, bird watching and relocating ''those pesky squirrels, eating all my bird feed.''

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, LeRoy A. Alberthal.

She is survived by her daughter, Lanette Arredondo (and husband Paul); son, Lynn Alberthal (and wife Pennie); 5 grand children and 8 great-grand children.
