San Antonio Lawrence A. quotButchquot Lang, 63, of Ingram, passed from this life at a local hospital on Friday, October 28, 2011.
Born in Ellensburg, WA on July 5, 1948, he was the son of Lester V. and Ethel V. Penkert Lang.
Butch served in the USMC for 6 years, and he always believed, once a marine, always a marine.
He owned a 1928 Model A Hotrod named quotLil Thumperquot and enjoyed showing it in various car shows. It is at these shows he would make many new friends and rekindle many old friends.
A wonderful brother and uncle, he always enjoyed family time.
He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, Laurel L. Lang and Arthur Keith Lang and a sister, Lillian May Lang.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his sister, Joyce Gibson and her husband, Forest, of Ingram and many nieces and nephews, including Forest Craig Gibson of San Antonio and Annette Sienia of Crossville, TN.
According to his wishes, private services will be held in Colorado.
The family suggests that donations in his name be made to the Hill Country Veterans Association, CO Al Hill, Kerrville VA Hospital, 3800 Memorial Dr, Kerrville, TX 78028.
