Lavaughn Smith

Kerrville Lavaughn Bonnie E. Smith, 78, passed from this life, Sunday, April 20, 2014. She was born August 18, 1935 to Reinhold Hengel and Mary Gutherie Newton.

Bonnie was born in Alamo, Texas and raised in Harlingen, Texas. She spent most of her life as a Texan and was proud of it. She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Colleen Hingel Pinkerton.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her beloved husband, William Meek brother, Garrett Hengel nephew, Rob Hengel and nieces, Melissa Wienberger, Julie Wallace, and Kacie Bhushan.

Memorial Services will be held in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home at 2 PM on Monday, April 28, 2014.
