Larry Gutierrez

KERRVILLE Larry Concepcion Gutierrez, 52, passed from this life on August 12, 2012 at a local hospital. Larry was born in San Antonio, TX on April 22, 1960 to Hipolito Concepcion and Alicia Casarrez Zuniga Gutierrez.

Shortly after birth, the family moved to California where they stayed until Larry was 17 years old. They moved back home to Texas where Larry became involved in construction learning many aspects of the trade. Those skills included roofing, concrete work and building houses. Larry was an avid sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs.

Larry was a strong loving person who always looked after others, with family coming first in every situation.

Larry was preceded in death by his daughter, Clarissa Menchaca uncle, Danny Casarrez nephew, Anthony Martinez.

Those left to honor and cherish his memories are his wife, Inez of Kerrville, TX daughters, Veronica and Erica Menchaca son, Marcus Gutierrez brothers, Jerry Gutierrez, Peter Zuniga, and Danny Zuniga sisters, Irene Pedrosa, Sylvia Ayala, Joann Pumental, and Patricia Zuniga grandsons, Marcus Gutierrez, Jr., Christopher Gutierrez, Andrew Torrez, Zakkery Torres, Alek Rodriguez, and Jordan Afshari, and a host of loving friends, and neighbors, and extended family.

A time of visitation will be from 6 8 PM, Monday, August 20, 2012. Funeral Services will start at 10 AM, on Tuesday, August 21,2012 in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home with Bro. James officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Kerrville, TX.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorials may be made at Bank of the Hills to help the family with funeral related expenses.
