Larry Armstrong

Larry Armstrong, age 68 of Kerrville, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 at a local hospital in Kerrville.

Mr. Armstrong was born December 20, 1946 in Bay City, TX the son of Carl "CC" and Lucy Armstrong. He attended the University of Texas and Western Michigan University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1973. Even thought his degree was in psychology, Larry preferred to work with his hands and explored many career paths throughout his life from concrete work to dairy goat farming. However, his favorite was woodworking.

He had a special bond with animals and truly enjoyed the company of many family pets. Larry's enthusiasm, generosity and sense of humor will be sorely missed.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Karen, his mother, Lucy Mae, a brother, James, sister-in-law, Carol, daughters, Ingrid, Carrie and Laurel, son-in-law, Will.

The family request memorial donations made in his name to the Kathleen Callioux Humane Society of Kerrville, TX.

The family will have private celebration of life services in May.
