Lannie Vaughn

Lannie Ray Vaughn, 52, of Ingram, TX died Monday, October 27, 2003 at his residence in Ingram. Mr. Vaughn was born July 13, 1951 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Ray Vaughn and Connie Lee Vaughn. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and also served in the U. S. Army Reserves. He married Patricia Ann Smith Vaughn on Feb. 16, 1973 in Sulphur Springs, TX, they parted on Aug. 26, 2003, but remained friends. He worked for the Texas Department of Health as a Circuit Supervisor in San Antonio, TX, and retired 2 years ago. He was a member of the American Legion, the V.F.W., the Woodmen of the World, and the Davis Street Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs, TX. He is preceded in death by his mother, Connie Lee Vaughn.Mr. Vaughn is survived by his Daughter, Deleana Piper and husband Eric of Ingram Son, Rocky Vaughn of Ingram Granchildren, Trinton Ray Piper, Erica Piper, Maci Piper, Blake Vaughn, Kaitlin Vaughn, and Alicia Outfleet of Kerrville Parents, Ray and Sharlyn Vaughn of Sulphur Springs Sisters, Toynia Jones and husband Kyle of Sulphur Springs, and Shanda Beck of Virginia Beach BrotherInLaw, Tommy Beck of Sulphur Springs, two Nieces and two Nephews.Memorials may be made to the donors favorite charity.
