Krikor Magarian

Krikor Greg M. Magarian, 84, of Kerrville, Texas entered into rest on July 13, 2006 at a local hospital.Mr. Magarian was born March 9, 1922 in Westboro, Massachusetts to Martin and Anneta Magarian. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from August 19, 1941 until retirement on December 1, 1974 as Chief Petty Officer. Mr. Magarian was a member of the Kerrville Masonic Lodge 697, A.F. A.M. He was sharp and intelligent, and enjoyed working crossword puzzles filling them in completely. His hobbies also included collecting anything electronic, and learning how to work the latest technology. He had a great love for his family, and though they lived far away he made a point to keep in touch. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Magarian.He is survived by his brother, Martin K. Magarian, Jr. of Salem, Oregon niece, Anne Vick and husband Scott of Nashville, TN nephew, Walter Murray and wife Sue of Hickory, NC greatnieces and nephews, Billy, Ashlee, Sara, Walter, Katie, Charlie, Tanner, and Hannah.Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 17, 2006 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Kerrville with Rev. Sam Ligon officiating.Memorials may be made to the donors favorite charity.
