Kevin Ray

Kerrville Kevin M. Ray, 58, of Kerrville, TX peacefully passed to go home, after bravely fighting cancer for 2 years, on Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Kevin was born on May 2, 1955 in Munster, Germany. He was the son George Edward Ray and Mildred Lou Salb.

Kevin lived in Danville, IL until he graduated from Danville High School in 1974. After graduating, he served from June of 1974 to June of 1998 in the US Army. Upon his completion of serving his country, he went into nursing for 30 years at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Danville, IL.

Kevin was an avid high school and professional football and Nascar fan. He was loved by everyone who knew him and he never knew a stranger, all were his friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents George and Mildred Ray.

Those left to cherish and honor his memory are his sister, Melinda Stokes her husband Sonny of Ingram, TX formerly of Weslaco, TX his twin brother, Kenneth Ray and his wife Lupita Ray of Corpus Christi, TX.

There will be no services held at this time.

The family suggests that donations in his name be made to the Cancer Society.
