Kaylyn Mallette

Kaylyn Barthelemess Mallette, 63, of Kerrville, Texas passed away on April 25, 2006 at a local hospital.Mrs. Mallette was born May 14, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas to Karl and Evelyn Barthelemess. She received her Bachelors Degree from Ohio University, and her Masters Degree in Business Administration from National University in San Diego, California. She married Gerald Mallette on December 29, 1984 in San Diego. At one time she was part owner of an art gallery in California, and enjoyed collecting and filling her home with paintings. In Kerrville, she was a substitute teacher for all of the schools in the Kerrville school district. She loved volunteering in pet therapy taking her dogs, AnnieFannie and Chi Chi Larue, to nursing homes and hospitals. She was a very giving, gifted, and special lady who made friends easily, and all who knew her will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents.She is survived by her husband, Gerald Mallette brothers, Karl and Kurt Barthelemess cousin, Michael Murphy of San Antonio, and aunt, Annie Lorry of San Antonio.Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 1, 2006 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel.Memorials may be made to the Kathleen C.
