San Antonio Charlotte Kaye Stoughton Miller, 65, of Spring Branch, passed from this life at a local hospital on Monday, February 1, 2010.

Born in Dallas on April 28, 1944, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Mary Alice Brandenburg Stoughton. At the age of 15, her family moved to Denton, TX where she met the love of her life, Lonnie, in their high school typing class. They married on March 18, 1961 in Denton, where they lived with their 3 children until 1978. They moved to Kerrville and in 1984, moved to Spring Branch, TX.

Kaye was a member of the Knights of Columbus Clowns Club.

She was in retail management for many years at a Western store.

After their children were grown, Kaye went to truck driving school, and with her husband, drove semitrucks as a tag team until they retired December 2008.

Kaye loved her husband, her dogs, her family and her many friends. She had a passion for arts, crafts and painting, and was a member of the quotPainted Ladiesquot, a group of ladies that got together and painted.

She especially loved to have the entire family and friends gather as often as possible.

She is predeceased by her parents, her brother, Wesley Stoughton, and her sister, Barbara Jean Dugosh.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her husband of nearly 49 years, Lonnie Miller of Spring Branch her dogs her daughter, Debbie Foster and her husband, Malcolm, of Gainesville, TX a son, Craig Miller and his wife, Misti, of Spring Branch a daughter, Kimberly Miller of Spring Branch and her three grandchildren, Shauna Miller, Jay Foster and Justin Miller.


There is no visitation.

A Celebration of her life will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home, Kerrville on Friday afternoon, February 5, 2010 at 5PM.

The family suggests that donations in her name be made to the charity of ones choice.
