Kerrville Julia Lopez Jaimez, 84, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life on Sunday, April 17, 2005 at a local care center. Born to Dario and Augustina Mireles in Martindale, Texas on April 12, 1921, she had lived in Kerrville for many years.Mrs. Jaimez devoted her life to raising her family. In five generations, she was so much too many people. She was a wife, the heart of the house. To seven, a mother that was with them for the good times and carried them through the bad. To her 22 grandchildren, a woman wise with all the answers, a mentor to some, and a person worth growing up to be. To all of her 59 great and great greatgrandchildren, an icon they will grow to know through the family she left behind. And to the rest of the world, a great loss now that shes gone. She was a woman who believed in God, miracles, and love. She will be greatly missed.A visitation was held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Monday, April 18, 2005. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel, 1221 Junction Highway with the Rev. Matias Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow at the Boerne City Cemetery in Boerne, Texas.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
