Juan Venegas

Kerrville Juan Raul Venegas, 27, of Kerrville, TX passed from this life on January 9, 2013 after a lifetime battle with cancer. Born in Laredo, TX on June 30, 1985, he was the son of Juan Venegas and Aurora Garcia Venegas.

Juan grew up in Kerrville, TX and was a graduate of Ingram Tom Moore High School, Class of 2004. Juan worked for Ingram Grocery and was also a student at the Christian Men Job Corp. In his spare time, Juan loved playing the lottery and collected Homie Figurines as well as Lowrider cars along with wearing his Lowrider hats as well as anything Oakland Raiders. Juan was always very happy and outgoing and touched many hearts with his smile and his life story.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Javier Venegas grandmother, Ramona Venegas maternal grandfather, Raul Garcia and aunt, Letecia Venegas.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his parents, Juan and Aurora Venegas brothers, Rolando Ruben Venegas and Daniel Venegas sister, Vanessa Marie Venegas grandmother, Bernarda C. Garcia nephew, Jayden Damian AngelVenegas niece, Makayla Ariana Venegas and his Godmother, Lydia Garcia Rios along with many loving friends and neighbors.

A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 6 PM on Monday, January 14, 2013 with visitation following at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX 78028. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Notre Dame Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
