Juan Franco

Juan De Dios Franco, “Johnny”, age 63 lived In Kerrville, Tx. He passed away July 31st, 2022 in San Antonio, Tx. 


Johnny was born July 2nd 1959 in San Vicente, El Salvador to parents Bernabe Alfaro Cordova and Bartola Franco. He grew up in Brownwood, Tx and married Debra Franco and had 2 children. He was a cattleman for many years and loved horses. Johnny moved to Kerrville in late 2012 and worked for Riverhills Country Club and Yogi Jellystone for a combination of 5 years. 

He is preceded in death by wife Debra Franco, parents Bernabe Alfaro Cordova and Bartola Franco, brother Al Alfaro and sister Margarita Alfaro. 

Johnny was blessed with wife Lisa Alvarado for the past 10 years. 
He leaves behind son Johnny Franco Jr. and wife Lisa of Kerrville, Tx. Daughter Christy Franco Vaughn and husband Kevin of Brady, Tx. Stepsons Bruce Alvarado and wife Bonnie of Kerrville, Tx, Lee Rojas and wife Claudia of Kerrville, Tx, Royale Rojas and wife Juliet of San Antonio, Tx, and Santos Rojas of Kerrville, Tx. 
He also leaves behind grandchildren Kristopher, Kevyn, and Kasen Vaughn. Faith and Kasen Franco. Aura and George Franco. Step grandchildren Alisa Rojas, Christopher, Gabriel and Javier Rojas. Gabriella Frias. Brooke, Holly, Sophia, Penelope and Ryu Alvarado.

A memorial will be held at 2PM on Saturday, August 6th 2022 at Kerrville Funeral Home located at 1221 Junction Hwy, Kerrville, Tx 78028. We ask all those who have memories they would like to share to please do so during this time.
