Juan Davila

Juan "Lencho" Lorenzo Davila, 60, of Kerrville, TX passed from this life on October 16, 2016 at a local hospital in Kerrville, TX. Juan was born September 30, 1956 in Piedras Negras, Mexico to Jose Lorenzo Davila and Maria Del Rosario Garza.

In 1979, the Davila family started their lives in Kerrville. Juan worked in the restaurant business to include the "Tortilla Factory" for several years. Afterwards Juan worked in construction throughout his life. He was well known in the community for his cement construction expertise and hard work. He was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. Juan will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Lorenzo and Maria Del Rosario Davila and son, Jose "Joe" Lorenzo Davila.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his daughter, Sylvia Gladys Gonzales and husband Paul; sons, Juan Obiedo and Gustavo Obiedo; sisters, Alma Calamaco, Sandra Davila and Carmen Davila; brother, Francisco Davila and wife Leticia; grandchildren, Laura Gonzales, Andrew Gonzales, Alexander Gonzales, Kayla Davila and Kameron Davila; nieces and nephews; Juan Calamaco, Joey Calamaco, Brenda Calamaco, Josh Calamaco, James Calamco, Michael Davila, Claudia Garza, Yvonne Davila, Joel Davila, Mary Gomez, Isaih Garcia, Selina Cervantes, Ana Garcia, Frankie Davila, Stephanie Davila, Jelly Davila, Elisa Vela and Kassandra Vela; along with a host of friends and neighbors that will miss him greatly.

A time for visitation and reflection will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 6 - 8 PM at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday October 19, 2016 at Kerrville Funeral Home with interment to follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Kerrville.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the charity of one's choice.
