Josephine Menil

Kerrville Josephine Otillie Willms du Menil passed away peacefully on Friday, April 15, 2011 after a long and wonderful life at the age of 88. Josephine was born on April 5, 1923 in Fredericksburg, Texas to Otillie Becker and Karl John Willms. She was a homemaker who loved her husband, Marvin Matthew du Menil, during an adventurous sixtynine and a half years which produced seven children, thirteen grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren whom she doted on and cared for with love and unselfishness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and three brothers.

Josephine is survived by her daughters, Geraldine Jo Hill and husband Ralph, Maureen Marie du Menil, Paulette Ann Petron and husband Larry, Carol Ann Frederick and husband Arthur, Barbara Gail Swindell and husband Scott her sons, Marvin Michael du Menil and wife Donna, Kenneth Stuart du Menil and wife Charlotte, along with all their children. She is also survived by her brothers Charles and T.G. Willms. Josephine leaves many more relatives and an abundance of friends.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons David, Jeffrey, Jeremy, and Brandon
du Menil, Stephen Petron, and her soninlaw Scott Swindell.

There will be a viewingvisitation at 10 AM at the Holy Cross Chapel and Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches, San Antonio, Texas on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 with a ceremony celebrating her life following at 11 AM.
