Our Mother was one of a kind. Born and raised in Kerrville, Texas to a family of migrant workers, mom knew the meaning of hard work and dedication. She never allowed herself to think she couldn't accomplish whatever she put her mind to. She received her GED in her 50's. Had numerous certifificates in several trades including cake decorating. She had business sense and gave great advice in real estate and banking decisions. Our Mom was a "jack of all trades". One of her many titles included a trailer park manager, which she held for many years into her 80's.
But her number one passion were her flowers, and plants of all types. She would bring a plant back to life and could root half a dozen more out of just one. Her roses were her favorite. She would always remind us to trim them back the week before Valentine's day. Mom loved each and everyone of us in her own special way and always prayed for our protection and guidance. We love you always Mom and will miss you dearly, rest in peace.
