Kerrville, TX Jose Angel Jo Hernandez, 48, of Kerrville, passed from this life on Saturday evening, January 12, 2008 at a local hospital.Born in Littlefield, TX on July 24, 1959, he was the son of Cruz and Bonifacia Salazar Hernandez. Angel has worked as service manager for Moores Furniture in Kerrville.He was one of a kind and always helping others. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. Angel will be remembered for his favorite word, Raquel.Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Raquel Piedra Hernandez of Kerrville his children, son, Jose Angel Hernandez, Jr. daughter Brenda Jean Hernandez and son, Adam Jesus Hernandez all of Kerrville his mother, Bonifacia Hernandez of San Antonio his grandchildren, Angelina, Elias, Izaac, Mia and Esmeralda all of Kerrville his sisters, Lollie Alvarado of San Antonio, Crusita Cordona of Kerrville, Mary Fuentes of San Antonio, Estella Alvarez of Denver, CO, Rose Bender of San Antonio and Isabelle Williams of Levelland, TX, Selena Hernandez of Lubbock, TX his brothers, Cruz Hernandez of San Antonio, Elijah Hernandez, Tim Hernandez and Pete Hernandez all of Lubbock, TX and many nieces and nephews.ation will be at Kerrville Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, January 15, 2008 from 58 PM and Wednesday evening, January 16, 2008 from 58 PM. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 6:30 on Wednesday evening.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 1:30PM at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Rev Mike Pienemann officiating. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery.In lieu of floral arrangements, the family ask that monetary donations be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
