John Miller III

Kerrville John B. Miller, III, 64, of Kerrville passed from this life on Wednesday morning, April 30, 2008 at a local hospital. Born at Randolph AFB, TX on June 5, 1943, he was the son of John B. and Eleanor Booth Miller, Jr. John served in the Texas National Guard from 19651971. He lived and worked in Houston for many years before moving to Colorado as owner and President of Western Measurement Equipment Company, an oil field instrument supply company.After 20 years in Colorado, John retired and moved to Kerrville where he lived for the past 8 years. He was a communicant of Notre Dame Catholic Church.Johns two children, Michael Wayne Miller and Jennifer Miller Nelson, were the apples of his eye. In 2005 John gained a wonderful soninlaw, Todd, and in November 2007 John finally got what he had been wishing for, a beautiful grandson, Trent Andrew Nelson. Along with his children and grandson, Johns passion was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He met so many wonderful, genuine friends during the time he spent in Kerrville. John was the planner and organizer and the glue that bonded the cherished group together. ation will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Thursday, May 1, 2008 from 5:007:00PMServices will be held on Friday, May 2, 2008 at 11:00 at Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories, Kerrville, Texas.
