KERRVILLE John quotJackquot Timothy Hanson, 88, of Kerrville, TX passed from this life at local health care facility on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. Jack was born on February 1, 1924 in Cleveland, OH to John Albert and Marie Elizabeth Christie Hanson.

Jack Graduated from Parma High School in 1941 in Stow, OH, and afterwards serving in World War II from 1942 to 1946 in the United States Army. He was a proprietor of 3 service stations in Ohio. He lived and worked in Vermont from 1972 to 1989, while during that period, on February 5, 1988. he married Mildred Flora Wilmott in Stowe, Vermont. In 1990, Jack and Mildred moved to Kerrville, where he was employed by WalMart until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents son, John Hanson Jr. brotherinlaw, Jess Wilmott.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Mildred Flora Wilmott Hanson his daughter, Robin Lee Baraw and husband Carrol Phillip Baraw son, Bruce Robson granddaughters, Eliza Mae and Mary Mildred Baraw several sisterinlaws along with numerous nieces and nephews and many loving friends and neighbors.

He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, and uncle who will be missed by all.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012, 2 PM at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Hwy., Kerrville, TX 78028, with Chaplain Sam Ligon officiating.
