Joann Lenzo

Joann Lee Lenzo, 75, of Las Vegas, NV began her final journey to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 10, 2013. She recently relocated to Kerrville to continue her rehab for her broken hip and wrist.

Joann was born December 22, 1937 to Miller and Helen Bozack of Hammond, IN. She attended and graduated from Hammond Vocational and Technical, where she met Frank Lenzo. They were married on June 22, 1957 and welcomed their loving daughter and sons in the years that followed. Joann embarked on a new adventure when she and her husband moved to Las Vegas to enjoy warmer climate. She worked for the Nevada Palace Casino and RV Park and then later worked as a bookkeeper for the Station Casino chain in Henderson, NV. She also enjoyed meeting visitors as she worked the ticket sales booth at several casinos to include the Lady Luck Casino selling show tickets to the famous Illusionist, Steve Wyrick.

Joann was a Member of the St. Viator Catholic Church Womens Guild, a Eucharistic Minister and supported her husbands activities with the Knights of Columbus. She also enjoyed the fellowship and activities of the local Italian Club.

Joann is preceded in death by her parents, and grandson Joshua Trushaw.

Those left to cherish and honor are her husband of 56 years, Frank of Kerrville, TX Daughter, Robin Trushaw of Las Vegas, NV Sons, Randy Lenzo Cheri of Lowell, IN, Mark Lenzo Juanita of Kerrville, TX sister, Carol Schmidt Bill of Lowell, IN brother, Melvin Bozack Maryellen of Mesquite, NV ten grandchildren: Chris Lenzo of Las Vegas, NV, Anthony Lenzo of Loveland, Co, Teresa Petravito Dominick, Jennifer Del Real Artemio and Nick Lenzo of Lowell, IN Tracey Lenzo and Rhonda Lenzo of San Antonio, TX Brianna and Michael Trushaw of Las Vegas, NV Two greatgranddaughters, Reann and Rilynn Petravito of Lowell, IN numerous inlaws, nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 6 PM with visitation to follow.

Memorial Mass will be held 9:30 AM, Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Notre Dame Catholic Church of Kerrville, TX with inurnment to immediately follow at Garden of Memories.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joanns name to the donors charity of choice.
