Jo Winter

Kerrville Jo Beth Winter, 98, formerly of Kerrville, TX passed away on Friday, September 9, 2011 in Houston, Texas.

Mrs. Winter was born April 21, 1913 in Rising Star, TX the daughter of Robertson and Laura Horton. She married Annis Odell Winter on September 5, 1934 in Rising Star and was a member of the Eastern Star and First Baptist Church in Kerrville.

Survivors include a son: Mike Winter and wife, Joani, nephews: Roy Hickman and wife, Lois, Phil Horton and wife Vicki, nieces: Mary Jo Lawless and husband, Darrell and Margaret Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Annis on May 17, 1976 and a son, Joe Dell on January 7, 1999.

Celebration of life services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at The Garden of Memories Cemetery in Kerrville with Reverend Sam Ligon officiating.

ation for Mrs. Winter will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX.
