Jo Anne Holthusen

Jo Anne Holthusen, 85, of Kerrville passed from this life on Friday, October 6, 2023 at her residence.

Jo Anne was born July 12, 1938 in Rockford, Illinois to George and Esther (Iverson) Palmer.  Jo Anne grew up in Dundee, Illinois; moved to McHenry, Illinois in the 1960’s; and to Texas in the early 2000’s.  She married Ronald Holthusen on August 28, 1954, and spent her life as a homemaker caring for her family.  She also loved to travel.

Jo Anne is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Daryl Palmer; brother, Gerald Palmer; brother, Ronald Palmer; son, Jeffery Holthusen, Sr., and daughter, Linda (Holthusen) Morgenson.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Jill Magly and husband Mike; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Services with interment will be held at a later date in Illinois.
