Jesse Ezell Sharp, 93, a resident of Ingram for 22 years passed away Saturday, November 20, 2004 at a local hospital.Mrs. Sharp was born May 16, 1911 in Freestone County, TX to Edna Ezell. After her mothers death Mrs. Sharp was raised in the Texas Baptist Home for Children in Waxahachie, TX. She married Joe L. Sharp February 4, 19 in Point Enterprise in Limestone County, Texas. They resided in Teague, TX then relocated to Waco, TX in 1941. Mrs. Sharp was a devoted wife, mother, and a loving and caring friend with strong spiritual beliefs. She was a long term member of Eighth Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Teague, TX, and attended First Baptist Church in Ingram after moving there in 1982.She is preceded in death by her husband, and sister, Velma Moore.She is survived by two daughters, Louise Sharp of Big Spring, TX and Sandra Sharp of Ingram, TX, one sister, Althea Durham of Davis, OK, two sistersinlaw, Myrtle Taylor of Waco, TX, and Thelma Sharp of Tyler, TX, and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be 2:00PM, Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at the Eighth Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Teague, TX. Interment will follow in the Shanks Memorial Cemetery in Freestone County. Memorials may be made to the Texas Baptist Home for Children, PO Box 309, Waxahachie, TX 75168.
