Jesse Hallford

Kerrville Jesse Glenn Hallford, 75, passed from this life on August 21, 2011 in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born to Jesse Nelson and Mamie White Hallford in Brady, TX on May 10, 1936.

Glenn was career Air Force, retiring in 1980. He had served his country honorably in Vietnam, completing a 24 year span before retiring. After his military career, he was employed by the Municipal Utility District at Lake LBJ as a Utility Operator, completing 14 years of service before retiring a second time.

He married the love of his life, Donna Grimes Hallford, on June 13, 1964 in Brady, Texas. In keeping with military tradition, they lived in many places across the US and the world. Upon their move to Kerrville, they enjoyed their RV, seeing many of the sites they had never seen before.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to honor and cherish his memories are his wife, Donna of Kerrville, TX a son, Charles N. Hallford and wife Virginia of Brady, TX grandsons, Glenn Hallford, Charles M. Hallford, and Clayton Hallford, along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of floral tributes, the family asks that memorial contributions be forwarded to Peterson Hospice, 1121 Broadway, Kerrville, Texas 78028.
