Jerry Wienecke

San Antonio Jerry L. Wienecke, 48, of Kerrville, Texas who passed from this life on December 29, 2006 in a San Antonio hospital was born on October 2, 1959 in Stephenville, Texas to Henry M. and Darlene D. Thomas Wienecke.Jerry graduated from Tivy High School, he worked for the City of Kerrville for over 13 years, and also owned and operated W W Construction with his father for several years. He had a passion for hunting and fishing, which he indulged in with his father on many occasion.Jerry, in his earlier years, was confirmed in the Lutheran Church in Harper, Texas.He is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his daughter, Shannon Wienecke of San Antonio, Texas and brother, Johnny Wienecke of Ingram, Texas along with many other relatives that include aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends and neighbors who care a great deal for him.Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 8, 2007 at 10 AM in the Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home with Scott Hofmann of Harper officiating. Interment will follow at 1 PM in the Harper Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his parents.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
