Jennifer Cowan

Kerrville Jennifer Hassell Cowan, 65, passed from this life on Thursday, December 16, 2010. Jennifer was born on November 23, 1945 in San Antonio, TX. She was the daughter of A.M. and Natalie Hassell.

She had been a resident and business owner of Kerrville since 1998, and a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church in Kerrville TX. She married George F Geisen II in 1963 and had three children. Later in her life she married William E. Cowan in 1973 and they added a daughter to their family, he preceded her in death in 2006.

Jennifer was most proud of her family. She was a true friend to everyone who entered her life. She was also very proud of her successful dog grooming business that started in McAllen, Tx. and continued in Kerrville.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her four children, Cindy Johnson, her husband Curtis, and their son, Cody and daughter, Lacey of Houston, TX son, George F. Geisen III, his wife Jana, and their two sons, Lane and Christopher of Center Point, TX daughter, Stephanie Karam and her two sons, Jacob and Ryan of McAllen TX. Natalie Santoy, her husband Joe, and their daughter Ashlin of Kerrville TX along with a host of many loving friends, neighbors, special furry friends whom she groomed for many years, and friends at the Ark Clinic who will miss her dearly.

At Jennifers request, in lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations can be made to St. Peters Episcopal Church in her memory.

The family wants to thank everyone for their generosity, thoughts and prayers. It truly shows how many people her life has touched.
