Jeannette McFarland

Jeannette Leona McFarland, 85, of Center Point, TX passed from this life on Monday, November 20, 2017. Jeannette was born on September 28, 1932 in San Diego, CA to Robert August McNeece and Jeannette Flower-Anderson.

She married Charles McFarland in 1977 in Yuma, AZ. Jeannette lived most of her life in AZ. She worked at AT&T as an operator until her children were older. She worked as a hotel manager and then went back to for AT&T which she retired from in 1998. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, & Great-grandmother.

Jeannette is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sons, Lynn and Steve Whitaker; daughter, Susan Fox; and her brother, Robert McNeece.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Karen Blackledge and husband Joel; son, Les Whitaker and wife Betsy; grandchildren; Nicole Murray and husband Doug, Amber Bond and husband Kyle, Michael Fox, Jr and wife Jaquelin, Seth Blackledge and wife Ashley, Melissa Gonzalez and husband Carlos, Natasha Higuera and husband Bill, Sara Whitaker, Katherine Whitaker, Barrett Blackledge, Colton Atkinson, Kyle Murray, Cole Murray, Noble, Everleigh and Whitaker Blackledge, Emeri Fox , Brooklenn Higuera, Jonathan, Bailey, Xavier and Isaiah Gonzalez.

Memories of our mother will stay with us as she was one who lived life to the fullest. She always filled the room with laughter. She was hoot and could cut a rug with the best of them.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary followed by a time of reflection and visitation will be held at 6 PM, Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX 78028.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon, Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 114 US 87, Comfort, TX 78013.
